Learn more about Japanese sake, its versatility and non-traditional pairings during Japanese Sake Pairing Nights – an intimate dinner series at Wife and the Somm (3416 Verdugo Rd) on Thursday, October 24th, Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th.
The multi-course pairing menu, led by Wife and the Somm’s Chris Lucchese, Christine Lindgren and their team, will spotlight the many delicious and creative ways that Japanese sake can be paired with non-Japanese dishes, with a focus on seafood. Highlighted courses include:

King Trumpet Yaki-Kinoko with Niizawa Brewery ‘Atago no Matsu’ Tokubetsu Honjozo

Through the immersive dinner series, guests will also gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Japanese sake as certified sake sommelier Greg Beck showcases the beautiful complexity and versatility of the beverage.
The dinner series is part of the Japan Food Product Overseas Promotion Center (“JFOODO”)’s latest campaign – Discover New Harmonies with Japanese sake – where the organization is partnering with world renowned restaurants to foster a deeper appreciation for Japanese sake and non-traditional pairings.
